COMPANY PROFILE

As President and General Manager of Affordable Home Insulators, Michael E. Millette brings a wealth of construction experience to the job.  After spending 12 years in the insulation and drywall industry, Michael has changed to the more focused approach of specializing in insulation only.  His motto has always been "if we are going to do the job, it takes the same amount of effort to do it right, as it does to do in wrong."  Michael has spent considerable time volunteering and participating in the wall & ceiling community.  His endeavors' include sitting on the board of directors for the Alberta Wall and Ceiling Bureau, and former publisher of the "Straight Edges" industry newsletter.   As a husband and father of 4 young kids, he is proud to operate Affordable Home Insulators as a family run business.

David DeschenesWith Over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Dave Deschenes worked his way up from insulation installer when he was first hired, to his current position of Assistant General Manager and Sales manager.  When you deal with Dave you know that you are dealing with someone who has actually done the job, and has done it right.  His knowledge of construction outside of the insulation industry coupled with his learned knowledge of insulation, means the customer gets an answer to just about any question.  And if Dave doesn't know the answer, he probably knows where to find it !

Affordable Home Insulators Ltd. is a proud member of the Alberta Wall and Ceiling Bureau, and the Northwest Wall and Ceiling Bureau.

DEADBEAT/TROUBLESOME CUSTOMERS

This section is intended to help fellow insulation companies and others involved in the Wall and Ceiling industry.  Often consumers are suspicions about construction companies, and sometimes they should be, but there is also a significant problem with consumers defrauding companies, engaged in the legal, and ethical practices of the Wall and Ceiling industry.

The forms of defrauding can take many forms, sometimes its simple "nickel and dimming", sometimes its pre-meditated attempts to not pay, and sometimes, its a customer that simply disappears off the face of the earth.

I make no specific comments about the companies or individuals listed below, but if you would like further information, DON'T hesitate sending me an email.  Please note that every business has had difficult customers, and there have been probably hundreds, these individuals have been exceptional.
